I realized long ago that my sweet spot in life was being involved in missional work. I am driven by being able to see that what I'm responsible for is making a tangible difference in the lives of others. After learning more about the mission of True Impact to serve and empower the orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, I was excited to jump into this role. Being able to support the goal for each of these children to be independent adults when they complete our program is so important to me. I also appreciate that 85% of the funds we raise goes towards fulfilling our mission. 

My first trip to Uganda was nearly three months after starting in my role, from my first interaction I knew I was in the right place doing the right thing. The outlook, positivity, and appreciation of the children in our program and ministry partners was inspiring and lit a fire in me to learn, grow, and step into this role bringing curiosity and excitement along with me. 

My wife, Traci and I spend as much time as possible with our kids, Asher and Amery. We love live music, the ocean, and snowboarding when possible.

Usually before or after a busy day, you can find me riding a bike.
