True Impact Ministries is committed to ensuring that children and families in our care have access to essential medical services in a country where healthcare is often out of reach. Uganda faces significant medical challenges, with a doctor-to-patient ratio of just 1:25,000—far below the World Health Organization’s recommended 1:1,000. Additionally, less than 0.5% of Uganda’s GDP is allocated to health insurance, making access to care difficult for many. Diseases like malaria remain a leading cause of death, especially among children, with funding shortages threatening the supply of life-saving medicine.
Over the years, True Impact Ministries has stepped in to bridge this gap—paying for doctor visits, providing optometry appointments and glasses, and supplying schools and orphan homes with medical kits and essential first aid supplies.

Cyndi, after whom the fund is named went to be with the Lord February 4, 2002 at 30 years old.
