The Michelle & Julia Hoffman Memorial Children's Home was established in honor of two women who lost their lives in a tragic car accident. Their compassion and faith continue to inspire everything we do.
Since 2013, True Impact Ministries has worked with social worker Racheal Mwenze to provide a safe and loving environment for children who have faced some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

Located near Jinja, Uganda, the Hoffman Home property served as both a residence and a place of restoration for over 50 children from 2013-2023. Many of these children had lost parents or had been displaced due to poverty, illness, or crisis. Since the students are now all in secondary or vocational programs, they no longer reside at this property but they still are under the care of Michelle and Julia Hoffman Memorial program and social worker Rachael Mwenze and Maggie, our True Impact Ugandan coordinator. Racheal’s deep compassion and hands-on leadership make her more than a caregiver. She is a trusted guide, mentor, and advocate for each child under her care. The children who are part of the Hoffman program are not just surviving. They are growing into confident, educated, and faith-filled young people leading and serving others in the community.
