Years earlier, a pot of boiling water had spilled onto his right leg, causing burns so serious that his foot contracted tightly against his shin.

Without access to medical care, the injury worsened, making it nearly impossible for him to walk, let alone dream.

But then, everything changed. Kizza was one of the first children sponsored through True Impact Ministries. His sponsor met him in person on a mission trip in 2010, saw his need firsthand, and generously paid for surgery to correct the damage.

For the first time in years, Kizza stood tall, wore shoes, and walked freely—with dignity and joy.
